Drainworks Plumbing & Gas Inc. is a family-owned plumbing company based in Brandon, Florida, with more than 20 years of experience serving Eastern Hillsborough County. From our home base at 150 E Bloomingdale Ave in Brandon, our licensed plumbers cover the communities we know best: Brandon, Valrico, Riverview, Apollo Beach, Sun City Center, and Lithia, along with the surrounding towns across the county.

Being local is not a marketing line for us. It means we understand the plumbing that Eastern Hillsborough homes actually have - the slab-on-grade foundations, the aging copper in homes built 15 to 25 years ago, and the hard, mineral-heavy water that comes out of our limestone aquifer. Licensed, Certified, and Specialized

Drainworks is a Florida State Certified Plumbing Contractor, license number CFC1430306. That certification covers the full range of residential and light-commercial plumbing, and we have built specialties on top of it that most local plumbers do not offer.

We handle gas line services - sizing, running, and pressure-testing natural gas and propane lines - and as a DuroMax Authorized Installer we provide whole-home generator installation, tying the unit into a properly sized gas line for storm readiness. On the water-heater side we are Rinnai and Navien tankless certified and install State and A.O. Smith tank units, and we fit Nelson water filtration and softening systems to protect fixtures and appliances from hard-water scale. For hidden leaks, we use electronic slab-leak detection to pinpoint the line before any floor is opened. That combination of gas, generator, water-heater, and leak-detection capability under one roof is what sets us apart in this market.

How We Work

We try to make hiring a plumber straightforward. You can call or text us at (813) 707-3215, or book online through our Jobber scheduler. Before any work begins, we provide a firm written quote, so the price is settled up front with no surprises. When a job needs a permit, we pull it in house and handle the county side of the process.

Our hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM; we are closed Sunday. We schedule same-day service during those hours whenever the route allows, and we set an honest expectation: we focus on same-day service during business hours rather than promising more than we can deliver. Urgent problems like active leaks and no hot water get priority routing so they reach a plumber first.

Drainworks is a member of the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce, and we work to be a good neighbor in the communities we serve.
